그 어느 사랑노래도 이 곡과 견줄 수 없을 걸! Debarge - I Like it

아무리 들어도 질리지 않은 나에게 있어 최고의 러브송이 몇 곡이 있다. 

각 곡마다 나만의 사연이 그득그득 들어찬 곡들이라 아무래도 좋을 수 밖에 없겠지. 

그럼에도 불구하고 그다지 큰 사연이 담기지 않은 곡이지만 

그 어떤 곡을 견주어도 가슴을 살랑살랑 거리게 할 최고의 러브송이 있다. 

음악을 많이 듣는 사람이라면 꼭 알아야 할 DeBarge의 I Like it 이 바로 그 곡이다.

내가 이 곡을 정말 좋아하는 이유가 2가지가 있다.

첫째로는 좋아하는 사람에 대한 좋아하는 마음을 주체 하지 못하고 표현하는 그 마음이 느껴지는 설레는 가사, 그 어느 여자가 안 녹을까?

"난 너가 머리를 빗는 것만 봐도 좋고, 입는 스타일도 좋고 그냥 너가 하는 그 모든 것들이 다 좋아." 

"너무 좋아 너가 너무 좋아 나를 소름 돋게 만드는 너의 사소한 것들까지 다 좋아" 

둘째로는 곡을 구성하는 리듬, 구성과 엘 드바지의 간드러진 목소리와의 조화때문이다.

미디엄 템포 전체적인 무게를 잡아주는 베이스 소리와 중간 중간의 트럼본 소리는 기가막히다.

스타카토처럼 딱딱 끊어지는 건반소리도 자칫 잘못하면 곡이 가벼울 수 있겠지만 위와 같은 이유 때문에 곡이 전체적으로 부드럽게 느껴진다.

무엇보다 더 주목할 건 이 곡의 후반부의 엘드바지의 간드러지는 가성이다. 

I like it I like it i like it을 반복하는 그 목소리에 예, 저는 들을 때마다 기절합니다. 

그 어떤 곡을 견줘도 나에겐 최고의 사랑노래이다. 

들을 때마다 가슴이 두근두근, 누군가 나에게 이런식으로 말해준다면 나는 정말 어쩌지를 못할 것 같다.
